Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty were engaged once upon a time, and the reports claim that the actress called off her engagement with the actor. In his latest interview, Rakshit spoke about the bond he shares with the Animal actress despite their past. Reportedly, in an interview, he spoke positively about the actress and even mentioned that they are still in touch with him. When asked about the Kantara star Rishabh Shetty and he himself being in touch with Rahamika, Rakshit laughed and said,” Rishab… I am not sure (laughs). Me and Rashmika message each other once in a while. Not like a constant touch. But whenever my film releases, she wishes me, and I wish her whenever her film releases. On birthdays, we exchange wishes.”

Rashmika was lately trolled for showing disrespect towards both the Shetty brothers as she spoke about her debut film without mentioning their names and just referred to their production house, Kirk Party. This production house is owned by Rishabh and Rakshit, and Rashmika made her debut with Rakshit. Rakshit Shetty even lauded Rashmika for achieving great success in her career and added,” She always had big dreams. She is achieving it. She should be given credit for that.”

One of his co-stars, Hema Malini was quoted on a leading entertainment platform on the same occasion as she fondly remembered him. She shared, “I have really sweet memories associated with him. He was one of my favourite co-stars. I never faced any problem with him. He was sweet and playful on set, and every scene was done without any tension. Karan Johar recalls the time he asked Shah Rukh Khan to unbutton his shirt the first time he met him

Shah Rukh Khan and director Karan Johar recently recalled their first encounter. The director claimed that he first recommended Shah Rukh to unbutton a few buttons from his shirt so that his Adam’s Apple could be seen. Shah Rukh contacted Aditya Chopra and inquired about Karan, asking him who he was and why he was making comments about his Adam’s Apple.

In an interview with renowned fashion designer Prabal Gurung, Karan explained that he was requested to persuade Shah Rukh to switch denim labels, and that the topic of his Adam’s Apple eventually came up. “I remember my first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan. It was crazy because I remember I was an assistant for DDLJ. I told him, ‘Oh, you know you’re wearing Wrangler jeans. You should wear Levi’s jeans. They’ll just fit you better. He was stunned. I didn’t know what gave me that entitlement I had. And I said, ‘Oh you have an Adam’s apple, you must open your shirt 2-3 buttons.’”

When Shah Rukh nodded in agreement, according to Karan, he quickly demanded a chance to talk with Aditya. Karan was described by the former Yash Raj Films CEO as a “townie,” or someone who was born and bred in South Bombay. “(Shah Rukh) just kept nodding, and then he said, ‘Will you give me a moment, can you call Adi in?’ I went outside, and he said, ‘Yeh kaun hai? kahan se aaye? Aur yeh mere Adam’s apple ke baare mein kyun baat kar raha hai?’ So Adi told him, ‘He’s a townie, they all talk like this.’ I was being very genuine. Eventually Shah Rukh started finding amusement in all these things that I was saying and he was like, ‘What do you want to do?’ I was like, ‘I want to be a designer,’” the filmmaker shared.

Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar developed a close friendship over time. They not only collaborated on a number of films, such as Karan’s first film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and his subsequent films Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and My Name Is Khan, but they also think of one another as family.

Waheeda Rehman to be conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award

In a post on X (previously Twitter), Anurag Thakur wrote about feeling an immense sense of happiness and honour to announce the decision of conferring Waheeda Rehman as the recipient for this year’s prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award. The minister lauded her for a stellar contribution to Indian Cinema and also mentioned her iconic films including Pyaasa, Kaagaz ke Phool, Chaudhavi Ka Chand, Saheb Biwi Aur Ghulam, Guide and Khamoshi. Imran Khan on working with Kareena Kapoor and nostalgic moments from Gori Tere Pyaar Mein

Imran Khan has undoubtedly aced his roles in romcoms, curating a separate fan base for himself. He recently recalled the Gori Tere Pyaar Mein filming and how he felt “comfortable” and “optimistic” when sharing the screen with Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Imran shared memories of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’s filming on Instagram on Tuesday morning. He also talked about working with Kareena Kapoor Khan again after Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. He also reminisced about his time in Bangalore writing, “Our first schedule was in Bengaluru, a city very dear to me; I attended The Valley School there for a few years, and many of my core memories feature Brigade road, Nagarjuna’s chilli chicken, and the legendary Corner House (Cake Fudge gang unite!). The Bengaluru shoot was a blast, particularly ‘Dhat Teri Ki’.”

“You may be surprised to learn that most of the remaining scenes were shot on sets in Film City Mumbai… the village set, in fact, was built in the same place that years before had been the site of the Mall Road set from Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander!,” said Imran and further continued, “It was also conveniently located across the street from the massive set constructed for OUATIM. I remember shooting ‘Tayyab Ali’ during the days, then peeling off my mustache while I walked across the street to shoot night scenes for Gori.”

Imran Khan described the summer of 2013 as “most grueling” in the heartfelt post as he juggled to finish Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. He did, however, add in his conclusion that he had fun while shooting.

Imran abruptly vanished from the big screen after his 2015 film Katti Batti. Now Imran Khan is in early talks with Abbas Tyrewala for an OTT project, which will be a spy action drama series, as it was previously reported.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas celebrates as SAG AFTRA strike comes to an end

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the labor union representing studios and streamers have finally reached a tentative agreement on a new contract following a gruelling sequence of discussions and meetings that lasted several straight days. This important development has the potential to put an end to the record-breaking 146-day writers’ strike, relieving the entertainment sector. The SAG AFTRA strike has ended, allowing movies and TV shows that were blocked or delayed to continue production. Celebrities from Hollywood, including Priyanka Chopra, joined in the festivities as soon as the news of the agreement broke, praising those who had made a significant contribution to its success and signaling the start of a new era for the entertainment industry.

The actress couldn’t contain her excitement and posted on Instagram to share it. She wrote, “Bravo. This is the result of a committed, unified stance. Hope that this positive momentum can drive closure on the SAG AFRA discussions too. After several long consecutive days of negotiations, the WGA and the AMPTP have reached a tentative deal on a new contract in a major development that could precipitate the end of a historic, 146 day.”

According to reports, the Writers Guild of America sent an email on Sunday night to strike captains with the news before making a general announcement to all of its members. The message said, “We have reached a tentative agreement on a new 2023 MBA, which is to say an agreement in principle on all deal points, subject to drafting final contract language.” In a joint statement with the WGA, the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) likewise reaffirmed the historic deal.

The sides have agreed on a three-year contract, but it still needs to be approved by the WGA before it can take effect. While the specifics of the agreement, which affects about 11,500 WGA members, are not yet known, they are anticipated to be made public in the coming days as the organization works to win over its members to the arrangement.

These negotiations were kept from breaking the union record for length by taking place over five days straight over the weekend. The previous record was set in 1988 when the WGA went on strike for 154 days against Hollywood studios.

Heads Of State, Priyanka Chopra’s next movie, will now resume production after earlier being put on hold owing to the strike. Ilya Naishuller, the project’s director, also features Idris Elba and John Cena in this OTT movie. Additionally, the actress is set to share the screen with Guardians of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt in a film titled Cowboy Ninja Viking.
