After being in a relationship for many years, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan got married in 2012. The two have an age gap since Saif was born in 1970 and Kareena was born in 1980. In a recent interview, Kareena discussed their age difference and also talked about their differing religious beliefs.

In an interview with a leading news portal, Kareena said, “When has age ever mattered, he is hotter than ever. I am happy I am 10 years younger, he should be worried. No one would say he has turned 53. Age does not matter, what matters is respect and love and the fact that we have fun with each other.”
Kareena expressed her views on interfaith relationships and emphasised that instead of focusing on differences such as age or faith, it is more important to have a good time with your partner. According to her, the key factor in her relationship with Saif is their mutual liking and enjoyment of each other’s company. She believes that the discussion should not revolve around their age gap or religious beliefs.

After a few years of dating, Kareena and Saif tied the knot in Mumbai in October 2012. Prior to this, Saif was married to actor Amrita Singh, but they separated in 2004. Saif and Amrita have two children together, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif and Kareena also have two kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kareena is all set to make her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan. It also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The film is slated to having an OTT release on September 21.
She also has Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders and Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew, co-starring Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh.
