The India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup Match yesterday was previously scheduled for September 10. However, it was delayed because of the rain. The match is special as other than hitting a century, it also marked KL Rahul’s return to cricket after his surgery.
His wife, actress Athiya Shetty and father-in-law, actor Suniel Shetty turned out to be the biggest cheerleaders he could have asked for. Sharing shots and a video of him achieving a century, Athiya captioned it, “Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise…You are everything, I love you. #1.”
Suniel Shetty too praised him as he shared a picture and captioned, “A sublime performance – A triumphant return. Gratitude Overflows. Grateful to the almighty for empowering all efforts.”
Virat Kohli too scored a century in the match last evening and Anushka Sharma was all smiles as she cheered him on too.
